After a proper meltdown at Lowes (how absolutely overwhelming) after first trying a local hardware store, we finally set up a bunny fence. We noticed others in the plot had fences and, after trying to risk it, realized it wouldn’t be sustainable. At the same time, we also planted a raspberry plant and some broccolini. We needed to replace some of the more beat up “purple peacock” kale/broccoli hybrid.

We both left feeling quite a bit more relieved that the garden had a better chance at life.
